This is the third and final part of our Lodging Series which features some of the many vacation rentals in the Grand Haven Area. A vacation rental has the intimacy of a bed & breakfast or an inn, but it is a much more independent lodging option. Besides what is in the rental, you will usually be responsible for providing yourself with items that would normally be amenities at a hotel. There also usually isn’t assistance on site at a vacation rental like a front desk worker. Some vacation rentals even allow you to rent the entire property during your stay. If you want to feel as “at home” as possible during your stay, a vacation rental is a good way to go. Here are just a few of the vacation rentals available in the Grand Haven Area.

Serendipity Resort & Suites

Serendipity Resort & Suites offers guests a “one of a kind” stay with 14 residences that are close to the downtown and waterfront areas of Grand Haven.  Choose a studio, one bedroom, or two bedroom suite for your stay. All of Serendipity’s lodging comes fully-furnished. They also include a full kitchen, free wifi, and air conditioning.

BWI Downtown

The Blue Water Inn also has a convenient downtown location that offers 4 suites that can each sleep up to 4 people. The suites have a queen size bed, a sofa sleeper, a private bath, and much more. This vacation rental is less than a mile from Lake Michigan and just 2 blocks away from downtown Grand Haven, making it an ideal spot to experience the city and all it has to offer.

Captain’s Cottage

Also located 2 blocks from downtown, this cozy farmhouse style cottage offers three spacious suites that can accommodate up to 4 guests. Each space has private seating outdoors, a gas fireplace in the living room, a whirlpool tub, and more. The two suites on the first floor can conveniently be connected together, which makes this vacation rental an ideal place for larger groups that want to be together yet have their own spaces.

Lake Michigan Cottages has numerous vacation rentals available all over the Grand Haven area. They also have several luxury rentals available if you want a truly unique vacation experience.
