This is a perfect option for couples who want to enjoy a relaxing stay together. There are 8 rooms at this bed & breakfast which is located downtown off of 5th street. It is within walking distance from many of the attractions in the Grand Haven area. All of the rooms have private bathrooms and there are jacuzzi suites available as well. If you are looking for a warm and cozy stay during the winter months, some of the rooms even include a fireplace.

Harbor House Inn

This Victorian style home was built in 1987 and is located in the heart of downtown across from Grand Haven’s shops and restaurants. There are 17 different rooms, each with private baths to offer a spacious and comfortable stay for all guests. Most of the rooms are for couples but they can also accommodate children. Guests can find a selection of board games available in the living room and the library, as well as a cozy fireplace. The screened in porch also provides spectacular views of the property’s floral gardens.

Looking Glass Beachfront Inn

This location was named one of the “5 Great Places to Stay While in Grand Haven” by BestMichigan.org. The Looking Glass is a five bedroom bed & breakfast that presents some of the best views of Lake Michigan, the Grand Haven Lighthouse, and the pier. There is a community deck that overlooks the lake as well as a fireplace and fridge in the common areas. All of the rooms are suitable for two guests, with the exception of the Dunegrass room, which is able to sleep up to four guests. The Looking Glass is only a short one mile walk to downtown Grand Haven so after a day enjoying the sun, guests are able to visit the restaurants, shops, bars, and the museum.

Pigeon Creek Inn

The five suites at the Pigeon Creek Inn offer fireplaces and four of them offer a two-person whirlpool bath, which makes for a romantic getaway for couples. Each room has a king-size bed with comfortable pillow-top mattresses and flat-screen TVs.  This Inn is located in the wooded areas adjacent to Pine Bend/Hemlock Crossing county parks and is only two miles from Lake Michigan. There is a screened-in 3-season room that allows guests to view the 35-acre wooded areas while they enjoy a tasty chef-prepared breakfast.

Washington Street Inn

This traditional bed and breakfast is in a historic home that was built in 1902. It is within walking distance to Centertown and downtown Grand Haven, so guests can visit all of the shops, restaurants, and attractions. The innkeepers are able to assist guests in recommending different activities during their stay. There are five rooms offered at this location: three rooms with private baths and two rooms with a shared bathroom. Washington Street Inn offers great options for both couples and families.
