Ice Cream in the Grand Haven Area

 

Did you know that there are fourteen different places to get ice cream in the Grand Haven area? You can find traditional ice cream treats such as soft-serve cones, dozens of hard-serve flavors, as well as shakes, malts, and sundaes. Some locations offer special ice cream treats such as flurries, floats, frozen custard, or frozen yogurt. You might even find some regular food items such as hot dogs, French fries, and sodas, or other sweet treats like candy and fudge.

Affogato’s Ice Cream and Coffee: Affogato’s is a local, Veteran owned & operated coffee & Ice Cream shop specializing in espresso drinks, hand dipped ice cream, traditional soft serve, vegan soft serve, flurries, shakes and sundaes – and of course, affogatos

A La Mode: They serve soft serve ice cream in chocolate, vanilla, twist, flavor bursts, or a custom flavor, or scoops of hard ice cream. They also have a large variety of sundaes, shakes, floats, flurries, and more! Or if you’re looking for a snack, they offer various hot dogs, sides, and simple beverages.

Bad Habit: Try the delicious milkshakes with flavors ranging from positively decadent to tantalizingly sweet. Satisfy your sweet tooth with their breakfast menu that offers pancakes, pastries, lattes, and more. Captain Custard: They offer a variety of flavors in soft serve and hard serve. Along the same strip you can find other treats like shakes, sundaes, flurries, or malts, or snacks like burgers, hot dogs, French fries, and more. Or you can try a specialty item like their chocolate dipped bananas or cheesecake slices with a variety of toppings.

Coopersville Creamery: Coopersville Creamery is a family-owned business that started in 2019. They have a delicious broad selection including hand-dipped, soft serve, malts, shakes, slushies, smoothies, specialty sundaes and more! Located 303 Main St, Coopersville

Dairy Creme: They serve soft serve ice cream and sundaes, such as the “Boardwalk Turtle Sundae” or the “Shipwreck Flurry” . They also offer snacks such as hot dogs, chili dogs, Polish dogs, nachos, sodas, shakes, and more!

Dairy Treat: They are back open at the same location, with a new building! They still serve both soft serve and hard serve ice cream, as well as shakes, flurries, sundaes, and novelty ice cream bars.
Located at 218 S Harbor Dr. in Grand Haven.

The Front Porch: They serve homemade hard serve ice cream, sundaes, flurries, smoothies, slushies, shakes, and malts. Each day they pick a random name, and if you share that name, you can get a free ice cream!
Located at 618 E. Savidge in Spring Lake.

Kilwins: Along with their original premium ice cream, they also offer handmade fudge, caramel apples, and artisan chocolates.
Located on the downtown mainstreet at 101 Washington Ave. in Grand Haven.

Norms: They are known for their large portions and reasonable prices, Norms offers both hard serve and soft serve ice cream, as well as flurries.

Pier Peddler: They function as an ice-cream shop and souvenir shack. They have a variety of hard serve flavors.

Sweet Temptations: You can watch as they make their national award-winning homemade ice cream (Vanilla Bean and Dark Decadence) that is served at this location, Temptations, Skoops, and The Front Porch! You can also purchase a variety of other treats such as caramel corn, fudge, candies, cakes, and pies.

Temptations: They serve homemade ice cream in homemade waffle cones. These fresh waffle cones are used at this location, Sweet Temptations, Skoops, and The Front Porch!
