4th of July Celebration Round Up

The 4th of July is a special day, worthy of big celebrations. Look no further than the Grand Haven Area for family-friendly 4th of July plans! Continue reading below to check out what’s happening in Allendale, Grand Haven, and Ferrysburg.

Grand Haven 4th of July Fireworks

Visit Grand Haven for a spectacular display of fireworks at the downtown waterfront! The fireworks show will follow immediately after the musical fountain show which will be accompanied with patriotic music. To view the patriotic musical number and dazzling fireworks, pick a spot anywhere along the downtown Grand Haven waterfront.

Ferrysburg 4th of July Parade

Prior to the Grand Haven fireworks, check out the Ferrysburg 4th of July parade. Kick things off with the mayor’s breakfast at city hall from 8AM-10AM, followed by the parade at 10:30AM. The parade route will start on Ridge Avenue, moving east, then south on Pine Street to Third Street, ending at William Ferry Park, where there will be refreshments, music, and activities from 11:15AM-12:15PM.

Allendale 4th of July Celebration

Take a trip to Allendale to celebrate the nation’s birthday. The Grand Parade kicks off the celebration at 10AM sharp, which winds though the Allendale Public Schools K-8 campus. Be sure to watch overhead as you don’t want to miss the captivating Holligan’s Flight Team airplane flyover. From 11AM-2PM, the fun-filled festivities will continue at Allendale Community Park, where there will be food and games and a live concert from Wyatt & Shari Knapp. End the night with a fantastic firework show back at Allendale Pubic Schools K-8 campus beginning at 10:15PM!
