To celebrate National Pizza Day – February 9th – we asked our social media followers to tell us their favorite pizza places in the Grand Haven area. We had hundreds of responses via Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter. Here are the most popular answers!

Fricano’s Pizza Tavern
Located at 1400 Fulton St. – Grand Haven. Fricano’s Pizza Tavern is cherished landmark and is still owned by the family that first brought pizza to Michigan in 1949. Dine in & pick up available. More info.

Clover Bar
Located at 601 S. Beechtree St. – Grand Haven. Clover Bar was established in 1963 and their menu includes pizza, subs, breadsticks, salads and more. Dine in & pick up available. More info.

Mr. Scrib’s Pizza
Located at 317 N Beacon Blvd. – Grand Haven. A long-running outpost for deep-dish & thin-crust pies, plus submarine sandwiches, ribs & seafood. Pick up & delivery available. More info.

Mama Mia’s Pizzeria
Located at 218 W Savidge St. – Spring Lake. Mama Mia’s Pizzeria was first opened in 1968 but back then it was named Garzelloni. The name changed in 1972 to Mama Mia’s and though ownership has changed over the years, it is still a family owned business offering up pizzas, subs, and more. K2 Pizzeria at The Kirby House
Located at 2 Washington Ave. – Grand Haven. K2 is a casual, hip and fun wood-fired pizzeria located on the second floor of The Kirby House. While you wait for your pizza, you can shoot a game of pool or play a round of shuffleboard. Best of all, they offer an outdoor patio & bar in the warmer months. Mario’s Pizza & Sub
Located at 935 Robbins Rd. – Grand Haven. Serving the Grand Haven area for more than 30 years. For all of you night owls, they serve until 3am on the weekends. Pick up & delivery available. More info.

Peppino’s Pizzeria & Sports Grille
Located at 5065 Lake Michigan Dr. – Allendale. Peppino’s in Allendale was opened in 1980 to serve the growing population of students at Grand Valley State University. Along with pizza, they offer a full menu and bar which makes it a popular spot to watch the big game. Dine in, pick up, and delivery available. More info.
