Holiday Shopping on the Artist Trail

Posted on May 7th, 2024 by Intern

On Saturday, December 7, 10 am-4 pm, take a walk along the Artist Trail and find holiday gift ideas or special treasures for yourself.  Independent artists will be set up in stores, studios, and businesses throughout Grand Haven showcasing and selling their unique artisan creations.

The Artist Trail was born and organized into a spring and fall/holiday event when at the height of the Pandemic shutdown, a local artist wanted to create an opportunity for local artists to sell their work from their homes/studios after art fairs and markets were shut down.

No longer under pandemic restrictions, organizers looked to bring artists to more accessible marketplaces while still retaining the original idea of a “trail” to follow.
In 2023, the Winter Artist Trail had 30 participating artists who were welcomed into 17 retail/business venues spread throughout Grand Haven’s downtown and centertown.
