Breweries And More In The Grand Haven Area

There is plenty to do in the Grand Haven Area regarding activities, like sightseeing and hiking, swimming and sunbathing, or fishing and boating. In between checking off all the activities for your upcoming trip, you can unwind or refuel with the great options for restaurants and coffee shops. While that sounds relaxing, you can take it a step further by visiting one of our breweries or wine shops! The Grand Haven Area offers several breweries, restaurants, and markets,  with Michigan craft-beers that offer a worthy stop on your trip.

Here’s a list of breweries, along with a couple select markets and restaurants, that you won’t want to pass up on your trip:

1. Oddside Ales

If you love craft beer, then Oddside Ales may be the match you’re looking for! Not only do they have an already impressive lineup of year-round and seasonal favorites, but they’re constantly striving to create new craft beers. These beers push the boundary of flavor combinations and end up being distributed far beyond just Michigan. On top of that, the bar is welcoming and viewing their tap list from online or inside is a piece of cake. As well as being located in the first block of Washington Street by the Lynne Sherwood Waterfront Stadium, Oddside Ales is a hit among locals and visitors!

2. Grand Armory Brewing

In the heart of Grand Haven’s downtown lies Grand Armory Brewing. This taphouse has 20 taps that offer a high quality variety of ales, hand-crafted ciders, and even wine! Not only are the drinks splendid, but its proximity to Grand Haven favorites like the Musical Fountain and boardwalk adds a layer of value to the brewery. It can act as a precursor to a fun night downtown or a rewarding finish to a walk from the beach. Also, with a beer you can enjoy a burger and fries, occasional live music, and even bring your kids along as it’s a friendly atmosphere for all ages!

3. Trail Point Brewing Company

A standout brewery made from former members of the MOB (Muskegon Ottawa Brewers) homebrew club! When checking out Trail Point Brewing Company and their honorable handcrafted beer, you’ll feel at home and more than likely make a new friend in the wonderful community. Being in Allendale, Trail Point Brewing Company utilized the town’s history of settlers pointing branches in forests towards directions of villages. They have a wide selection of strong to light ales, tasty hard-ciders, as well as fresh semi-dried wine. If you plan on making this stop in Allendale, make sure to check out their calendar for what daily special or event may be going on that day!
