Patrick Haverty Grand Haven MichiganThe Grand Haven area offers over 6,000 acres of public lands that are accessible for the enjoyment of leisurely walks, outdoor exploration and best of all  – fresh air and exercise.  Hit the beach, hike the trails, take a bike ride or just stroll quietly through the forest and take in the sounds of nature. Quiet space never sounded so good!

Geocaching is a great to pass time!  Especially if you have children that need to burn off some energy while problem solving, treasure hunting and learning how to read GPS coordinates.  It’s not hard to get started and would be a great way to get out while keeping your distance. There are over 400 geocaches in the area!

Area lodging properties are taking extra precautions to ensure the safety of travelers and staff.  Cleaning rooms for guests is normal, but with safety as a top priority our properties have incorporate several additional steps to keep guests safe.

While restaurants, cafes and dessert shops are starting to open many still offer takeout and delivery.  Local flavor is still available and area businesses would appreciate the support. To learn more about the status of our area restaurants here.

Be well, get outdoors and socially distance yourself by immersing in nature!
