Pottawattomie Park has 20.83 acres with 3  Pavilion shelters, a restroom, 2 volleyball courts, 2 horseshoe pits, a soccer field, a developed playground, 2,750 feet of trails, a floating fishing/viewing platform, 160 feet of boardwalk, and 74 parking spaces. This wonderful family park is located off Comstock Street  in Grand Haven Township. A great park for families of all ages, activities, and events.

Ottawa County Parks Nature Education Center

The Nature Center, located within Hemlock Crossing Park, has exhibits, a wildlife den with critters and activities, a wildlife viewing area where you can watch birds and animals at the feeders, and a gift shop. The center also hosts a variety of educational programs for schools, special groups and the public.

Riverside Park Grand Haven

With nearly one mile of frontage along the south bank of the Grand River, this 64 acre park is the perfect place for picnicking, boating or fishing. The park includes a boat launch (fee required), picnic shelter, large pond with a barrier free fishing dock and over 1,000 feet of grassy picnic area along the riverbank. Fishing is allowed along the riverbank and from the edge of the pond.

Kirk Park

Located on Lakeshore Drive just south of M-45, south of Grand Haven, Kirk Park features acres of dunes, woods, a Lake Michigan shoreline with a sandy beach, covered pavilion, playground, swimming beach, hiking trails with scenic dune overlooks, and cross-country ski trails. This park also includes a Dog Park.

Pigeon Creek Park

This large county park offers a year-round retreat for the outdoor enthusiast, including plenty of winter activities such as family sledding and cross-country skiing. Equipped with snowshoe trails.

Mulligan’s Hollow Park

Grand Haven’s largest and most versatile park houses the Ski Bowl and YMCA, as well as tennis courts, softball/soccer fields, pickleball courts, and a skatepark.
