North Pier

UPDATE July 2026: Grand Haven's North Pier is currently closed for a major $9.25 million overhaul managed by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers. The construction project began in April 2026 and is expected to shut down pedestrian access on the pier until late 2028.

The North Pier is a great place to watch boats come in, fish, birdwatch, or watch the sunrise or sunset! The North Pier is located on the North side of the Grand River channel and accessible via North Shore Drive in Ferrysburg. You can also view the Grand Haven lighthouses from this location. Free parking.
