Grand Haven 4th of July Fireworks for 2020 have been canceled as of May 18th 2020 by the City Council of Grand Haven due to the concerns of unvoidable person-to-person contact and the potential for the spread of Covid-19.

Starting Off The Day
4th of July Parade & Picnic: The Parade in Ferrysburg, a short drive across the bridge from Grand Haven, will begin at 10:30am on Saturday, July 4th. It begins at Ferrysburg City Hall and ends at William Ferry Park. Following the end of the parade, there will be a flag rising ceremony at the park, which is where the picnic will take place. - Drive to Beautiful Beaches…Grand Haven State Park or North Shore Beach
- Walk or ride along The Grand Haven Boardwalk or The North Pier…Chinook Pier or The North Pier
- Stroll and Shop Our Quaint Downtown Business District ….Spring Lake or Grand Haven
- Rent A Pontoon to Cruise along the Waterways…Spring Lake Boat Rental or Grand Haven Boat Rental
In The Evening The Celebration Continues:
Musical Fountain: The Musical Fountain will be starting off the nighttime celebration on July 4 tentatively around early Dusk alongside an array of initial fireworks and a patriotic musical accompaniment. The Musical Fountain is located at the Waterfront Stadium. Grab your blanket and get your spot early. For more information, click here.
Fireworks: Fireworks will be at full Dusk on July 4 at the Lynne Sherwood Waterfront Stadium . Fireworks are free unless you sit directly at the Lynne Sherwood Waterfront stadium. To reserve a spot for the show, refer to the blanket policy.
