Enjoy a day at the beach as the sky is filled with colorful kites of all types and sizes. World-famous stunt kite fliers perform to music on the center flying field while kites larger than a school bus hover just to the south. Bring your own kite to fly on the open flying field at the north end of the event, or test fly the year’s newest kites on one of the manufacturers’ fields.

This annual soccer tournament is a two day event at the Grand Haven State Park Beach . It welcomes top local, national and professional teams ( 5 players per team) as well as soccer enthusiasts of all ages and talents . Because this is a friendly competition, each team is guaranteed to play at least three games on the beach. Grand Haven, MI draws more than 20,000 people to this event because teams and families coordinate their summer vacation around this particular weekend of soccer. Many whom have played in this tournament come back year after year to the beach of Grand Haven making Soccer In The Sand #1 on their list of summer activities for their family and friends. This years tournament will take place on the beach of Grand Haven State Park June 27 and June 28 2020.
