The Idema Explorers Camp at Ottawa Sands offers a unique overnight experience at the intersection of Lake Michigan and the Grand River in Ottawa County. They feature three tree-houses, five yurts, and 10 tent pad sites.

The Imagination Station is a 10,000 sq. ft. of playground fun designed by area children and constructed by the community located at Mulligan’s Hollow behind the Tri-Cities Family YMCA in Grand Haven. Open dawn until dusk.

Rosy Mound is a classic Great Lakes dune system including high wooded dunes, foredunes, beach and a dune blowout. A 0.7 mile (one way) hiking trail from the parking area to the Lake Michigan shoreline includes 1,000 feet of stairs up and down the dunes and scenic views of woods, the dune blowout and Lake Michigan. A unique shade canopy, dune boardwalk trail and pit toilets are located near the beach.

This Grand Haven Township park is located off of Ferris Street in Grand Haven. Many hiking and biking trails, soccer and ball fields plus a playground are found at this community park. Dogs are allowed on leash too.
