This multi-year, multi-million dollar project was made possible through donations from local residents and various grants. We cannot be more thrilled with how it turned out. This waterfront park provides incredible views of the Grand River and many amenities for everyone. The land for the park was gifted to the Village by the Thum family around the turn of the last century. The family made their fortune through their company – Tanglefoot Flypaper. The park features a gorgeous pavilion with glass garage doors, a catering kitchen, and bathrooms.

The Tanglefoot Park pavilion can be rented for private events and community events. The pavilion can accommodate events such as weddings and family reunions for up to 299 people. When the pavilion is not in use for private events, visitors are welcome to seek shade under the pavilion. The new Splash Pad is popular with local families who enjoy setting up picnic spots in the surrounding grassy areas. The park also offers an outdoor fireplace, transient boat docks, a universally accessible kayak launch, public art, a fishing pier, and a new self-service kayak rental kiosk!
