Kirk Park

Located on Lakeshore Drive just south of M-45, south of Grand Haven, Kirk Park features acres of dunes, woods, a Lake Michigan shoreline with a sandy beach, covered pavilion, playground, swimming beach, hiking trails with scenic dune overlooks, and cross-country ski trails. This park also includes a Dog Park.

Kouw Park

Located south of Grand Haven along Lake Michigan near the West Olive area, Kouw Park features improved facilities including picnic areas, play equipment, restrooms and parking.

Olive Shores Park

This mostly wooded 20-acre site includes a mature beech-maple-hemlock forest, a steep dune formation, and 738’ of Lake Michigan frontage. There is paved parking area, modern restrooms, a barrier-free trail loop, and an extensive series of stairs and boardwalks traversing the dune and providing access to the sandy beach.

Grose Park

Overlooking Crockery Lake from a bluff amid towering trees, this 40 acre park provides a variety of recreational opportunities for the entire family including swimming, fishing, sand volleyball and picnicking. About one mile of hiking trails along a creek and through the woods offers abundant spring wildflowers from mid-April through May. This park is near the towns of Nunica and Coopersville

PJ Hoffmaster State Park

State Park located along Lake Michigan just north of Grand Haven in Muskegon, Michigan which features over three miles of Lake Michigan shoreline, a 297-site modern campground, towering Lake Michigan dunes.

Gillette Sand Dune Visitors Center

The Gillette Visitor Center features exhibits to tell Michigan’s unique sand dune story. Within easy access from the visitor center, the half-mile Lake Michigan Trail goes up and over the park’s sheltered backdune forest and leads visitors out into a grassy foredune with a sweeping view of the beach and Lake Michigan.
