Live Michigan wildlife animals including reptiles, amphibians and birds will be used during the presentation. Learn unique characteristics of animals and how they fit into our diverse ecosystems. Hands-on artifacts include skins, skulls, wings, feathers and talons of several species native to Michigan.

Live Birds of Prey: A Bird’s Eye View

Join the Friends of Grand Haven Park and the Outdoor Discovery Center for the exciting nature presentation, “Live Birds of Prey”! Come see a collection of live Hawks, Owls, Falcons & More! Audience participants will have the opportunity to closely view the birds, expertly handled by Outdoor Discovery Center staff. Hands-on artifacts including skulls, feathers, pelts and talons will also be featured. All birds used during the presentation will be those that cannot be released to the wild.
