Property Tour Series: Lakeshore Inn

This week’s featured property is Lakeshore Inn, a bed and breakfast located 13 minutes south of downtown Grand Haven. This fully restored 6,500 square foot mansion was built in 1941 and plays host to spectacular views of Lake Michigan that can be seen from their 200 feet of private beach frontage. The owners and two of the nicest individuals you will ever meet, Jackie and Dan Hansen, work around the clock to maintain this quaint four-bedroom inn.
When stepping into this warm and inviting property, it’s not hard to find the recurring theme throughout – all things presidential. Everywhere you look, you will find awesome memorabilia highlighting the history of various presidents; included in this collection is the Bible that Harry Truman used when he was sworn into office, signed documents from over 15 presidents, tickets to Ford’s Theater from 1865, and much more!
Along with a fantastic collection of history, one can enjoy panoramic views from many sitting areas, wonderful reading nooks, a private beach, and a calm and quiet atmosphere. The Lakeshore Inn is conveniently located near many awesome golf courses, hiking and biking trails, and fantastic shopping and dining options downtown.
