This paved and maintained bike path wraps around beautiful Spring Lake. The 15 mile bike path has public restrooms along the way at Central Park in Spring Lake, in Fruitport at Pamona Park, at William Ferry Park in Ferrysburg and atRycenga Park just west of Spring Lake. Lakeside Beach is a half block off the trail and also has bathrooms available June to September. Drinking fountains exist at all of the above locations plus at Lake Avenue and Whistle Stop Park in Spring Lake.

Lakeside Trail continues into and continues into the North Bank Trail, provided by Spring Lake Township, which is a continuation of the Rail-Trail that extends east 3.3 miles into Spring Lake and Crockery Townships. When you cross over the north side of the US-31 drawbridge, the trail systemconnects with the 15-mile Lakeside Trail,which encircles Spring Lake through thecommunities of Ferrysburg, Fruitport andVillage of Spring Lake. Trails in the Villageof Spring Lake also lead to the new NorthBank Trail and the Grand River GreenwayTrail with views of the Grand River
