Welcome to Kilwins of Grand Haven!
Grand Haven is a classic beach town located on the western side of Michigan along the shores of Lake Michigan. This active small town is known for Grand Haven State park, State campgrounds, bike trails, the boardwalk, two historic light houses, and many festivals held throughout the year. During the spring the Lubbers Cup Regatta and Great Lakes Kites Festival start the festival line up. In the summer, locals and tourists enjoy the Sand Sculpture Contest, Grand Haven Art Festival, Fourth of July, Del Shannon Days and most popular the Coast Guard Festival. The fall brings the Salmon Fest and Artwalk, and during the winter the Jingle Bell Parade and Winterfest keep the town vibrant. Grand Haven is also home to the United States Coast Guard, and has been given the name “Coast Guard City.” The Coast Guard Festival is centered around Coast Guard Day. Beginning in May, the Grand Haven Musical Fountain lights up the night with a dancing, musical water fountain located in the Grand River off the Dewey Hill. Grand Haven is a true Pure Michigan destination.
Over the years, Matthew, his wife Rachel and son Tyson, developed a tradition while visiting his family in Michigan. They frequented the local Kilwins at every opportunity, and their love for Kilwins’ ice cream, delicious handmade fudge and hand-dipped caramel apples grew and grew. During the summer of 2014, Matthew, Rachel and Tyson visited Grand Haven and it was clear to them where they were supposed to be. One year later, they are proud to call Grand Haven their home and look forward to bringing the Kilwins experience to Grand Haven!
