Bur Oak Landing is 261 acres of Open Land Space, split into “East” and “West” by 90th Avenue.  East Bur Oak Landing is 116 acres with a large bayou and West Bur Oak Landing is 145 acres. Together, they include 1.4 miles of Grand River frontage, wetlands, upland and floodplain forest. There are no designated trails or restrooms.

From Leonard Street, travel south on 90th Avenue. Parking for East Bur Oak Landing is located on the east side of 90th. Parking for West Bur Oak Landing is located near the end of 90th.

Dog Policy

  • Dogs are allowed off-leash, year round in Open Space Lands
  • Carry a leash with you and maintain voice control of your dog.
  • Please be aware that deer hunting (both gun and archery) is allowed at some Open Space Lands. Be mindful of the season when visiting with your pet. Learn more about where hunting is allowed.
  • Owners must clean up after their pet and dispose of waste in a trash receptacle.
  • Dog policies vary from park to park, please visit the individual park’s page before visiting with your dog.
