Quilt Hop at The Loutit Library

March 1, 2026 - March 31, 2026 @ 9:00 am - 8:00 pm

March is National Quilting Month-- a month-long celebration of quilts, quilters, and quilting established more than 30 years ago by the National Quilt Association. Libraries are celebrating with quilting events, quilts on display, quilting books, and more. We will also have a Quilter in Residence from the Lighthouse Quilt Guild, who will be hand quilting within the exhibit every Monday and Wednesday from 1:00 PM - 4:00 PM.

Loutit District Library's Upper Level Atrium is featuring quilts from the Lighthouse Quilt Guild. Stop by during open hours to pick up a brochure at any service desk and receive a participation prize you can use time and time again (while supplies last). Don't forget to 'hop' around to other participating libraries to check out local quilters' works on display.

Friday: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM
Saturday: 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM
