Sand Sculpture Contest

General Info

The Grand Haven Area Convention & Visitors Bureau is the host of the Annual Sand Sculpture Contest, which takes place in June. This contest is the perfect way to spend time with friends, family, and business colleagues, while you compete individually or in teams to create the most impressive sand sculpture!  A panel of local judges will be present to decide 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place for each category which will include a short 2hr contest for all groups and ages, as well as multiple categories in the long contest; Individual, Group and Youth Group (for little sculptors <12) .  Beach-goers who choose to watch this exciting contest from the sidelines will also be given the opportunity to participate by casting a “people’s choice” vote.

Registration Details

Registration for the 2027 contest will open in May 2027.
