Chinook Pier Park

Located along Harbor Avenue on the Grand River channel, Chinook Pier is approximately one acre in
size. It is a special-use park. The main attractions here are the #1223 locomotive, a fish cleaning station, a Boy Scout statue, a playground, and picnic tables. The Grand Haven Farmers Market also occurs in the parking lot here from May through October. The park overlooks the Grand Haven boardwalk and Municipal Marina. An “old-fashioned” miniature golf facility is operated by the City. The Farmer’s Market is open Saturdays and Wednesdays, generally from May through November. The play area was renovated in 2014 by a joint effort of the City and Coast Guard members stationed in Grand Haven.
