Holland Haven Marathon XII: Running – Community – Celebration

The Holland Haven Marathon offers runners a scenic experience along Lake Michigan, starting in Grand Haven and finishing in downtown Holland.

This USATF-certified marathon occurs in early September, providing mild weather and a final chance to qualify for the Boston Marathon.
The Holland Haven Half Marathon starts at Camp Geneva and follows a picturesque route along Lakeshore Drive into Holland, featuring a mostly flat course on paved paths.
The 8K race serves as a perfect introduction to longer distances, with a flat, out-and-back course suitable for both novice and experienced runners.
Participants can also join virtually, earning a commemorative medal regardless of their race-day attendance.

Holland Haven Marathon

The Holland Haven Half Marathon begins at Camp Geneva along the Lake Michigan coastline. Runners follow the scenic Lakeshore Drive past the beaches and into the City of Holland. The mostly flat and fast course consists of paved bike paths along Lake Michigan and Lake Macatawa.  This one-way race is one-of-a-kind in West Michigan, uniting communities in a unique event.
