Grand Haven’s Annual New Year’s Eve Ball Drop, Live Music by Dank Hill, and Fireworks

Gather your friends and family and head to downtown Grand Haven to ring in the new year! The festivities will begin at 8pm at 1st and Washington Avenue. Kicking off the evening a DJ will provide fun and festive music until 9pm. Immediately following, local band, Dank Hill, will take the stage. Dance and sing along with the entertaining and talented band as they perform hits from the ’90s and 2000s until the lighted ball drops with a countdown to midnight followed by a spectacular fireworks display. The designated social district and heated sidewalks will help take the chill off but be sure to dress for the weather. All ages are welcome.

43rd Annual Coopersville Nighttime Christmas Parade & Tree Lighting

For a festive evening out, be sure to head to downtown Coopersville for the 43rd annual Nighttime Christmas Parade and Tree Lighting. Beginning at 6pm, the tree lighting will kick off the evening at Pocket Park. The West Michigan Elite dance performance will immediately follow the lighting on Main Street. After the show, the Christmas Parade will begin at 6:30pm. The parade route begins on Main Street, west of Eastmanville. The parade will then head east down Main Street and end on the Coopersville School Campus. Be sure to stop at the Coopersville Community Service Building from 6:30-8:30pm for pictures with Santa, hot cocoa, and a community band will be performing.
