Photographing weddings makes me insanely happy.  I have a strong desire to be constantly documenting intricate details. Whether it’s the way you hold hands, or the way the wind blows in the trees, I want you to be able to look back at your wedding photos and feel like you are there again. Moments pass. We can’t go back in time. But photographs are truly the only thing (besides your spouse and that kitchen-aid mixer you’ll never use) that you take home from your wedding day. And to me, that is the greatest gift I can give anyone.

My goal is not to be the creepy photographer who makes you feel uncomfortable or like you’re posing for prom pictures. Instead, I want to be that friend at your wedding that just happens to have a camera. The friend that gets to know you, understands the relationship between you and your spouse and then works damn hard to make sure that’s captured.

But who am I? Personally?

I am an artist. I am a perfectionist. I am a control-freak. I am a planner. I am a dreamer. I am a designer. I am a fan of sweatpants and coffee with creamer. I am nostalgic. I am a hoarder of photographs. I am in love with Michigan. I am in love with California. I am a dog-lover. I am an older sister of a brother with Autism. I am a Michigan State University alumna. I am a dancer. I am trying to be a yogi. I am a loud-talker. I am a good listener. I am fueled by nature. And most importantly, I am and will always be a photographer.
