This is the official page for the Annual Sand Sculpture Contest, in Grand Haven, Michigan!
The 42nd Annual contest will be taking place on Saturday, June 14, 2025 from 10am to 2pm.
Being held the day before Father’s Day, this contest is the perfect way to spend time with friends, family, and business colleagues, while you compete individually or in teams to create the most impressive sand sculpture! A panel of local celebrities will be present to decide 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place for each category. Beach-goers who choose to watch this exciting contest from the sideline will also be given the opportunity to participate by casting a “people’s choice” vote. The top three sculptors from each category will be awarded, while the 1st place winners will get to take home a prize
Registration Details:
Registration will be available online, through email/invoice, and in person until June 12, 2025
- To register online: there will be an updated link to Eventbrite for online registrations.
- To register by email: contact jmiller@visitgrandhaven.com to request a registration form.
- To register in person: bring your completed registration form to the Grand Haven Area Visitors Bureau office located at 512 Washington Ave, Grand Haven!
- Day of registration: will be available the morning of the contest from 9:30am-10:00am at the information located onsite at Grand Haven City Beach (t-shirt sales are by advance order only)
