10:00 am - 11:30 am Experience the charm and history of Grand Haven on the Grand Haven Historic Boardwalk tour, hosted by the Loutit District Library. Join Jeanette Weiden for a scenic and immersive journey along the boardwalk, where stories of maritime heritage, harbor life, and lighthouse legends come to life. Learn about the community’s deep ties to the U.S. Coast Guard, the construction of the iconic pier and lighthouse, and memorable tales from the harbor’s past. The tour begins at the sundial at the intersection of Washington Street and S. Harbor Drive near the Waterfront Stadium. This two-mile walking tour takes place on a paved sidewalk and is accessible by stroller and wheelchair. Registration is required.
