Speakers:
Jon Brosseit; Muskegon Community College History Professor. Jon will present examples of how shipping in the Great Lakes is integral to Michigan history, leading into modern-day shipping.
Samuel Hankinson; Port Development Coordinator at the Port of Monroe. Samuel will highlight past maritime activities in the Tri-Cities, pictures of the current era of Great Lakes shipping he profiles in the Grand Haven Tribune’s Ship’s Log column, and present an industry perspective on the future of Great Lakes shipping.
