Grand Haven Area Photo Contest – Fall 2021
It’s that time of year again! We’re working on the 2022 Grand Haven Area Visitors Guide and we want to feature YOUR photos in this year’s guide! Submit your photos for a chance to win a $500 Visa gift card and have your photo published in next year’s guide.
How To Enter:
Share a photo that you think best captures the Grand Haven Area! Submit your photos to the contest page or via Facebook or Instagram using #visitghphotocontest2021. (For Instagram, be sure to include the hashtag in the caption, and not in the comment section.) Photos must be posted during the timeframe of the contest (September 21 – October 17).
The Prize
The winner of the Fall 2021 Visit Grand Haven Photo Contest will receive a $500 Visa gift card and will have their photo published in the 2022 Grand Haven Area Visitors Guide. The runner up photo will receive a $300 Visa gift card.
Eligibility
The entry period is from Tuesday, September 21 at 9am EST – Sunday, October 17, 2021 at 11:59pm EST. The contest is open to those who, as of the date of entry, are 18 years of age or older and have internet access. Those who are under the age of 18 are allowed to enter the contest as long as they have permission and consent of their legal parent/guardian.
Submission Criteria
Photos must have been taken in Grand Haven or in the surrounding areas of Spring Lake, Ferrysburg, West Olive, Allendale, Coopersville, or Nunica. Photos must have been taken within the last year. Photos must be original and of your own creation. If photos include identifiable people, you must have necessary permission from the photographed person(s) prior to submission. You may submit multiple photo entries. Submitted images must be high resolution/300dpi for consideration. Lesser quality images will not be considered.
*All photo entries are subject to future use by the Grand Haven Area Convention & Visitors Bureau in future marketing and advertising of the Grand Haven area with credit given to the original photographer. This includes, but is not limited to: Grand Haven Area Visitors Guide, VisitGrandHaven.com, the Visit Grand Haven Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and Pinterest accounts, email blasts, billboards, and digital & print advertising. By entering into this contest, you are agreeing to the GHACVB’s use of your image(s) as stated above. Obscene, provocative or otherwise questionable content will not be considered. We retain sole discretion as to what constitutes inappropriate content.
Winner Selection
The winner and runner up will be chosen by the Grand Haven Area Convention & Visitors Bureau and will be announced by the end of the day on Monday, October 18.
