There are plenty of trails, both groomed and ungroomed, at area parks. Many venues feature plenty of additional family activities, including sledding and skating. Amenities such as restrooms, warming houses and concessions make the day comfortable as well as fun. Strap on your skis or shoes and revel in the splendor of a Michigan winter landscape.

Welcome to the West Michigan Lakeshore, where you can cross-country ski through woods and dunes, see majestic icebergs loating on Lake Michigan, or discover lighthouses that have been transformed into huge sculptures of ice.
This area experiences regular lake effect snows, so chances are we'll have plenty, even if the snow has disappeared where you live. If you're ready for an active outdoor weekend or just lounging at a cozy inn, this is where you're sure to find a winter getaway that fits your mood.

Sledding hill next to warming lodge, which offers ski rentals and concessions. Mulligan's Hollow-2.5k Downhill & Cross Country Skiing, Snowboarding & Ice Skating
