Getting around the Grand Haven Area is easy whether you are in a car, taking a bus, hopping on a bike or hoofing it by foot.

Washington Avenue is Grand Haven’s “Main Street.” It runs the length of the district, passing through Centertown, the Hilltop and downtown ending at the waterfront. Once in downtown Grand Haven, there are eateries, shops, service businesses, marinas, beaches, activities and events galore – all within walking distance.

Plenty of free parking is available throughout the region. An inexpensive ride on Harbor Transit is just a call away at 616-842-3200, with stops throughout Grand Haven, Spring Lake and Ferrysburg area.

During the summer, enjoy a scenic ride around downtown Grand Haven, Spring Lake, Ferrysburg and Fruitport on Harbor Transit’s Lakeshore Trolleys. The trolleys run seven days a week from 12pm-8pm beginning the day after Memorial Day through Labor Day. Take a ride on the Beach Express this summer with the Harbor Transit Beach Express and save yourself the hassle . Park at one of four convenient locations and ride Beach Express right to Grand Haven State Park and the Grand Haven City Beach.  Please note that the Beach Express shuttle will pick you up if you are within three-quarters of a mile from the route. Please call 616-842-3200 24 hours in advance to schedule your pick up.

Enjoy the downtown area on an electric scooter that you can rent right outside Tip Two. Wave Co. provides $15/half-hour, $30/hour, $100/day, or $0.50/min rentals that can be ridden all around downtown Grand Haven and by the beach. Scooters are not permitted on the boardwalk and pier. Rentals are available by the app 24/7. Wave Co. staff are at locations at varying hours between 12-8pm. Scooters can be returned at one of the several parking locations, which can be seen on the app. To end rentals, lock your scooter and end the rental via the app.

Moped rentals are another great way to get around town! Cruise Grand Haven located on Ferry St. offers mopeds and E-bikes- plus fuel is included in each rental! Their rental options include hourly, where the first hour is $25 and then goes down to $15/hour. They also have 4 hour rentals for $60 and all-day rentals from 11am-8pm for $110. They also have Musical Fountain rentals available on Friday-Sunday only from 8-11pm for $75. Bluetooth speakers and helmets may also be rented for an additional $10.
