Announcing the #GHSelfie Challenge!
The Grand Haven area has so many great places to snap that perfect picture, and for years you guys have tagged us in so many great videos and shots. Isn’t about time you get rewarded for all of your great photos? We think so too! That is why we have decided to create a #GHSelfie Challenge.
What’s a selfie challenge you ask? Well let us explain!
Each month, starting in July, we will announce a different theme for that month’s challenge. Your job is to go out a take a selfie in the Grand Haven area based on that month’s theme. There will be a different theme for every month of the year from now until June of 2017. For each selfie submitted each month, you will receive an entry to win that month’s prize giveaway. You want to know the best part? The monthly prize will highlight one of our local businesses! So let’s get started…

Sunsets!
As the month of August arrives so does some of the best Sunsets Grand Haven has to offer! Whether you are out at the lighthouse, out at Rosy Mound, at the State Park, or simply downtown enjoying dinner at one of your favorite restaurants, the Grand Haven area has countless options to take that perfect selfie!
August’s Selfie Challenge Giveaway
This month’s prize is a gift basket donated by Mac Kites! Enjoy a two-hour trip around Grand Haven on one of their awesome eBikes. More information can be found on their website at mackiteboarding.com
How to Enter to Win!
To submit your Sunset selfie, you simply have to tag it with #GHselfiejuly on Twitter or Instagram, post it on our Facebook timeline using the hashtag, or DM it to us on Snapchat! All entries must be submitted by 11:59pm on Wednesday, the 31st. August’s winner will be announced and notified on Friday, September 2nd.
Bonus entries will be given for taking a selfie at Mac Kites and tagging them with @mackitesgh, #mackites and #GHselfieAugust
