The Tri-Cities Historical Museum

Looking to catch up on some history? You way want to stop on by to the Tri-Cities Historical Museum! Located right in the heart of Downtown Grand Haven this museum has been a directly line to the past, showcasing local, state, and global artifacts. The building has three floors stocked full of interesting treasures. The Akeley first floor is a chronological tour of the area with exhibits ranging from Native Americans, fur trade, to the industrial era. The mezzanine floor features two gallery spaces that hold temporary exhibits. Exhibits on this floor in the past have included global arts from Asia, Africa, and the Middle East. The upper floor

Coopersville Museum

Opened in 1980, the Coopersville Historical Museum has worked to preserve the area’s history for both visitors and local residents. This museum is a great to find a variety of awesome exhibits. When visiting you will find a replica of a sawmill and other displays featuring life back in the day! The museum also has a wooden passenger train that was once apart of the area’s interurban trail line. A Del Shannon tribute with memorabilia is also on display! The Coopersville Historical Museum is a great place to spend the day.

The Harbor Trolley

You can’t beat this Grand Haven classic! For less than $2 you can take the trolley around to see all of the must-see attractions in the city. Sit back and relax as your driver/tour guide/comedian takes you around town. Their are 5 stops the trolley makes, you can get on or off at either of them Believe it or not, the trolley is still great in the rain! See through coverings drop down to protect you as you travel around the city.

Spring Lake Fitness and ย Aquatic Center

In case the rain wasn’t enough to fill the need to enjoy water, the Spring Lake Aquatic Center can certainly do it! Complete with a waterside, lap pool, full workout capabilities, and indoor courts, its a great way to stay fit and have fun. The Tri-Cites YMCA

Another great place to stay in shape while the weather isn’t cooperating is the Tri-Cites YMCA. This YMCA has all of the great accommodations and features you would expect.
