"The Beach Zone"
OTTAWA COUNTY-Ottawa County Parks again will offer "The Beach Zone" serveral times this summer at Kirk Park.
The Beach Zone is scheduled for 10am to 2pm Fridays- June 18, July 9th and August 20th, 2010.
Animal Sand Castles, beach scavenger hunts, the park staff will have a tent canopy set up on Lake Michigan beach and will provide a variety of beach activities for kids and adults to explore and learn about Lake Michigan, the beacha and the dunes.
Adults must supervise their children during these activities. There is no program fees, but there is a vehicle parking free required at Kirk Park. Advanced registration is not required. This program will be canceled if there is rain or high winds. For more information, call 616.786.4847.
Kirk Park is located in Grand Haven Township on Lakeshore Drive about 2 miles south of Lake Michigan Drive/M-45.
