Events

The Chamber of Commerce Grand Haven, Spring Lake and Ferrysburg manages the Sunday Art Market which occurs the first Sunday of every month from June to September.

The Sunday Art Market will be taking place on July 5, August 2 and September 6. The market occurs from 11am to 2pm under the green canopy at Chinook Pier at the intersection of Harbor Drive and First Street.

The Sunday Art Market is a juried market showcasing established and emerging artists from the West Michigan area, including artists from Grand Haven! It’s a smaller venue than other art festivals, allowing artists the chance to speak with visitors and visitors an opportunity to get to know local artists. You will find an ever-changing display of pieces at each market. Each market brings unique artists and their individual works of art.  Fine art, pottery, metal works, photography, glass, textile arts, and jewelry are just some of the amazing pieces that are available for purchase at the Sunday Art Market.

To become a vendor at the Sunday Art Market you can pick up an application at The Chamber or download it from our website (http://grandhavenchamber.org/sunday-art-market/).  We ask that along with the application, that artists attach pictures or a link to where we can find their work.  All art must be the work of the individual applying and cannot be mass produced. Additionally, all artwork will be juried before being accepted into the Sunday Art Market.

The Sunday Art Market features a wide range of traditional and non-traditional artwork. There’s something for everyone! All of our artists are local to the West Michigan area; it’s a great way to support the community and local arts. Bring the family to Grand Haven for a chance to appreciate some wonderful art and enjoy a beautiful day downtown.
