March Events Roundup

Bead Making 101
March 3
Downtown Grand Haven
During this class you will learn the basics of glass bead making, including how to setup your own bead making
station and how to add designs to your beads. Pre-registration is required and there is a $35 materials fee.

Spring Fever
March 6
Downtown Grand Haven
Think Spring with the month long ‘Spring Fever’ exhibit at Gallery Uptown. This exhibit displays the colorful work of 30 artists. Join the artists for wine and hors d’oeuvres and listen to them speak about their artwork. Admission is free.

The Central Park Players Present: 12 Angry Men
March 6-8, 13-14
Grand Haven
The Central Park Players present the 57 year-old play: 12 Angry Men. The play will be presented in the Lakeshore Middle School auditorium. Admission is $10. All showtimes are listed on the Central Park Players website.

Wine Social
March 17
Spring lake
Spend the evening exploring new and exciting wines and innovative food creations prepared by Chef Jason. The wine social will be held in the private dining room. Event cost is $30 and reservations must be held with a credit card.

March 21
Grand Haven
Celebrate local grub, local brews and local music at the Grand Haven Community Center. All participants will
prepare food themed around the key ingredient – Bacon. Along with the food, enjoy locally made beers and live
music. Admission is $10.

Wine & Cuisine Tasting Series
March 25
Spring Lake
Enjoy dinner paired with the perfect wine at Jack’s Waterfront Bistro + Bar. The March menu includes a
German cheese board, dinner and dessert. Admission is $35 per person.

Cheese Making Class
March 28
Coopersville

VFW Soup & Slider Fest
March 28
Grand Haven
Local restaurants will be competing for the best soup and sliders. Food sampling begins at 11am, judging starts at 4pm and winners announced at 5pm. Tickets are $2 per soup or slider sample.
