This is a fall tradition that is not to be missed. The four passenger cars of the tourist railroad, built between 1919 and 1932, will be decorated with fall flowers and frills. The event is a celebration of the harvest and is one of West Michigan’s only non-scary fall events. The Grand Pumpkin, Mr. Scarecrow and Boo-The-Cat will be aboard to dance in the isles, sing and tell jokes during the 90-minute journey through family-owned farms & fields. The friendly Conductor will punch your tickets during the ride. At the end of the trip, all kids go to the track-side pumpkin patch to pick out their very own, locally grown pumpkin. Departs on Saturdays and Sundays from Sep. 23 through Oct. 29. See website at www.MItrain.net for details and online ticket ordering.
